The hunting program started in 1995 primarily for elk, and has since evolved to include other big game species.

Our elk hunts take place from late August to early October each year during the rut. We offer archery hunts which last six days. Our muzzleloader and rifle hunts last 5 days.

A typical day consists of a morning hunt followed by a mid-day break. You’ll then return to the field for the evening hunt.

Terrain and Weather

Terrain - A mosaic of mesa, canyon and meadow country composed of Pinon, Juniper and Ponderosa Pines.
Elevation - 7,000 to 8,500 feet
Weather - Varying from hot and dry conditions to monsoonal rains
Temperature - Low 40s (morning) to high 80s (afternoon)

Travel

You can fly into Albuquerque, NM on most major airlines and take a short drive to our meeting point at Sky City Casino / Hotel.

Accommodations

Comfortable tent accommodations await you at camp. Hot showers, excellent meals and after a long day of hunting a masseuse to relax aching muscles.
