C.A.R. Bongo hunt in C.A.R. with Jacques Lemaux Safaris

14-day, 1x1 guided hunt for one hunter and one observer

One hunter and one observer will travel to the Central African Republic for this 14-day, 1x1 guided hunt for bongo. Method of take is hunter's choice. Hunt will take place in Summer 2010.

Its rarity, reddish coat, striking markings and slightly spiraled horns make the bongo one of the world's most coveted trophies. The successful completion of a bongo hunt inspires the admiration of knowledgeable hunters everywhere. Jacques Lemaux Safaris' sector is in a region between the dense equatorial forests and shrubby savannas where forests alternate with grasslands. It was not hunted for fifteen years before the outfitter opened it again, allowing the hunter access to unexplored zones with almost no hunting pressure.

Included are tent accommodations, meals, trophy fee for one bongo, firearm permit, and 1x1 guide service. Not included are license air charter to/from hunting location dipping, packing/expediting government fees, field prep and gratuities.

The hunt may be extended and upgraded.

Arrival/departure point is Bangui, C.A.R.
