Coastal Grizzlies
Just a little ways up the coast from us there’s an invisible line dividing Grizzlies from Brown Bears. Why does this matter to the trophy hunter? Well, our bears are as big as Brown Bears, but still biologically classified as Grizzlies. This means we have huge Grizzlies! In fact, your chances of taking a Boone and Crocket Grizzly in our area are better than your chances of not taking one. The average mature boar in our area squares over 9 feet, while 10 ½ footers are available. Skull sizes range from 23 to 26 inches.
Spring Grizzly
During our spring hunts, we harvest bears that are emerging from hibernation in sub-alpine terrain. These bears have beautiful coats of fur, still fresh from winter. These hunts are 14 days and include a 2 Black Bears and a wolf.
Fall Grizzly
Our fall hunts produce our largest bears, as they have been gorging on salmon. We hunt these bears while they feed up and down the streams and rivers that riddle our area. This hunt is fourteen days and includes a wolf, 2 Black Bears and a Moose. Hence, we’ve named it The Grizzly Safari.
